The building sits on a 57-acre campus and was a $23 million dollar expansion of buildings I & II.
As the Engineer of Record for the Medical Office Buildings on the Sky Ridge Medical Center Campus, full engineering and construction administration services were provided. The Sky Ridge MOB I and II Buildings are approximately 118,000 square feet and approximately 105,000 square feet respectively. The buildings house the Sky Ridge Cancer center, pharmacy, and an Ambulatory Surgery Center.
The facilities include composite steel floor structures and steel braced frame construction with foundation systems specifically designed for the highly expansive soils on the site. Combining function and architectural intent and theme, exterior cold formed steel stud framing design was added as part of the core and shell structural design.
