As the lead Connection Design Engineer, the intricacies and expansive nature of the facility showcase the highly technical capabilities of J.R. Barker. The 240,000 tpd addition makes Cerro Verde the fifth largest mining facility in the world and is the largest one-time built copper concentrator on the planet.
The project was run locally in Peru, but connection design was outsourced with a need for the best in technology and expertise. The cross-continent project nature ran seamlessly with a commitment to the best in service and skill and a history of successful global service.
